Development Engineer (Algorithms/Image Processing)

This is an exciting opportunity for a well qualified (2(i) or equivalent) and experienced Development Engineer to join an innovative company developing next generation health care technologies.

You will have a passion for developing new solutions to technical problems and be highly self-motivated with good project management skills. You should enjoy working as part of a small team and be comfortable taking responsibility for your projects. You will also have experience of product development from specifying the initial concept through to testing finished devices.

The required skills are:

• Excellent C and C++ programming, preferably for medical devices
• Algorithm development using MATLAB
• Image processing

Experience of working with optoelectronic devices will be of benefit, particularly if to medical device quality standards.

Medical Device Development Engineers

Lein is always looking for highly motivated engineers with experience of medical device development (to ISO 13485/14971 or equivalent) to work on the next phase of the company's product developments. In particular, we are looking for people with experience of developing medical device software (C++), opto-mechanical design and data analysis.

A good first degree is a prerequisite, with a higher level qualification or appropriate work experience expected.
