Having worked in technology markets for a number of years, Lein's founders sought to apply advanced optical technologies from the telecommunications industry to improve the quality of healthcare. Their first application was a portable optical glucose sensor for people with diabetes.

Lein now has a dedicated team working on technological developments to suit complementary medical device markets. Our innovative optical solutions enable us to explore dimensional and physiological parameters of the eye in a non-invasive manner.
